1939年，美國影壇出現一部名為"The Wizard of OZ"的電影(中譯：綠野仙蹤)，甫推出便轟動一時，並獲頒該年奧斯卡最佳歌曲以及配樂兩項大獎。"Over the rainbow"便是這部電影的主題曲。經過將近六十年的洗禮，至今許多人依舊朗朗上口，並且持續受到許多歌手重視甚至翻唱。雖然我並沒有看過這部電影，「綠野仙蹤」這個故事也早已塵封在記憶中許久，但是當初聽到這首歌時的感動還是不在話下。

歌詞真的寫的很美，字句也不難懂；當心情不好的時候，聽著聽著，就不難想像自己像個孩子般，倚坐在天邊的雲端，觀望那道彩虹，雖然歌曲最後小小抱怨"why can't I fly beyond the rainbow like little bluebirds?" 卻一點也沒破壞這首歌的味道。相反的，隨著旋律不斷推進，我們似乎看到：望著彩虹的那人嘆了口氣後，繼續帶著羨慕和嚮往的微笑，想像拋開煩惱、在天邊彩虹馳騁的輕鬆自在。



對了，我聽的是Ray Charles 所演唱的版本。我喜歡他聲音經過延展後的悠揚質感，各位可以聽看看。 (^_^")b
